Wigan Ladies 2nd vs Horwich

Wigan Ladies 2s played a friendly match against Horwich Ladies 2s where we lost 4-2. There was some great play on Wigan’s behalf and the first goal was by Alice Shelmerdine ,having taken a great position, with a slip off the right post . The second was a good team effort in a short corner which Emma Moogan scored in the far corner. The girls worked hard to keep the scores 2-0 in the first half. However in the second half the play started to slow down where Horwich took the opportunity to score. Only the chance to continue improving for our Ladies 2s after this.
